Besides the being ticklish part, who doesn’t love their feet rubbed? What better way to spend a Friday night than soaking your feet after a long week.
Magnesium in epsom salts naturally relaxes muscles and help to reduce pain. Baking soda and olive oil help to soften skin and Tea Tree essential oil is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. A perfect remedy for feet, particularly if you suffer from such conditions as athlete’s foot or nail fungus.
All of these ingredients are natural and can be found at your local grocery or natural market.
Fill up a large bowl with boiled, then slightly cooled water (be careful not to burn your skin!). Add:
- 1 cup epsom salts
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 5 drops Tea Tree oil
Sit back and let your feet soak for 15 minutes. Rinse off and towel dry. Follow with a moisturizer. Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer for cracked heels. Apply liberally then put on socks until oil is fully absorbed.
