5 Edible Oils + Butters That Also Moisturize Dry Skin

Any of these edible oils and butters might be found in your pantry.  They work really well as a daily face moisturizer or just a quick fix on dry patches.  Each can be applied topically with no need to mix with any other ingredients, and no need to rinse off.


They are particularly beneficial for dry skin types.  They will not clog pores, will still allow skin to breathe, and provide vitamins and minerals to naturally nourish the skin from the outside-in.

  1. Coconut Oil
  2. Jojoba Oil
  3. Shea Butter
  4. Avocado Oil
  5. Aloe Vera Juice

It is best to apply your moisturizer while your skin is still damp, for better absorption.
