Peppermint essential oil is an uplifting and energizing oil extracted from mint leaves. It aids in digestion and eases nausea when used internally and also treats mental fatigue when used in aromatherapy. It naturally has uplifting qualities so we love to use it in the morning to help wake up the body and mind.
TIP: You can add a few drops to shampoo to help stimulate the scalp
Peppermint Body Scrub:
In a small bowl, combine:
- 1/4 cup sugar (brown or white)
- 1 Tblsp olive oil or carrier oil of choice (Apricot, Grapeseed, Calendula)
- 1 tsp Green Clay
- 4 drops Peppermint essential oil
Mix well, scrub over skin and rinse.
